At the Wuqiao School of Acrobatic Arts in the heart of China, children aged 7-17are training to be tomorrow’s acrobatic stars. It’s a gruelling programme where the saying "no pain, no gain"resonates. Students in the "Intensive Group" are striving to perfect theirskills in time for the prestigious Gold Lion Festival in Zunyi. The school is famousfor its human pyramids, a spectacular feat that features prominently in their routinesfor the festival. As they work up to their performance date, they are confidentof winning...until the star, a young girl at the very top of the pyramid, fallsand hurts her ankle. Will she recover in time or is all hope lost of winning thatprecious gold? |
